The SAT!

Each section of the SAT is worth 800 points for a total of 2400 points.

The SAT testing time is 3 hours and 45 minutes.

There are three scored sections: math, critical reading, and writing.

The math section covers problem-solving skills in general mathematics, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, data analysis, and statistics.

The critical reading section tests reading comprehension, reading skills, and vocabulary.

The writing section asks the students to write an essay that requires them to take a position on an issue and use examples to support their position. This section that also tests how well students use standard written English.

The question types require efficient test-taking skills. Familiarization with all aspects of this exam and a thorough review of math, reading, and writing are critical to your success on the SAT.
