SAT Practice Tests

The PRACTICE TEST offered by SAT Prep is a great way for the students to reinforce strengths and identify weaknesses for the SAT.

What makes this practice test unique? The guaranteed immediate feedback! The students leave that day with a marked essay, a better understanding of the scoring of the SAT, and their SAT score from this practice test. Students take home all materials to review and to improve their performance.

Regarding the timing of the practice test, our preference is to have the students take the practice test before the course when possible. This helps the student focus on areas of weakness during the course.

The SAT Prep practice test includes the essay. During the test, the proctors read, write comments, and score each essay. When the students are finished with the test, the tests are corrected (each student correcting his own test). This is not just a test-taking day. Our teachers spend time giving students many test-taking skills, such as guessing, leaving test responses blank, pacing, and using the test booklet. The students leave with the corrected essay, the test booklet, the answer sheet, and the SAT score.

Our course is packed with teaching and reviewing the skills necessary for success on the SAT. We provide a textbook for the students in which there are 5 practice tests that can be worked on at home.

We consider this practice test an integral part of SAT preparation. It is well worth the price and the students' effort to earn the highest SAT score possible!
