About Our SAT Prep Course
The SAT PREP COURSE provides dynamic classroom-based instruction at the high schools and is taught by experienced high school teachers. This setting provides the best learning opportunities for the students. The course is designed to decrease test anxiety and familiarize students with test directions, types of questions, and test-taking strategies. Analytical tools for mathematical concepts, problem solving, critical reading, and vocabulary are taught. Essay writing, grammar, geometry, and algebra topics are included in the course.
Teacher Information
All SAT Prep teachers are certificated Washington state teachers. Over 75% of our teachers have more than 25 years of teaching experience in local high schools. Many of the SAT Prep teachers have been teaching SAT Prep classes for over fifteen years. Almost all the teachers hold advanced degrees. They are trained SAT preparation experts!

The Course:
The course consists of 3 math and 3 verbal sessions, each 2 hours and 45 minutes, for a total of 16.5 classroom hours. A textbook and a student workbook of course materials are included. We vary the offerings: some courses are once per week spread over 6 weeks; some are twice per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) spread over 3 weeks. In the summer, the courses run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 2 weeks.
The Practice Test:
This is a full-length SAT exam. It is usually held on a Saturday morning. The students benefit from a graded essay and scoring information. They leave with their practice SAT score. We recommend the combination of the practice test and the course.
